Can i use a supercharger from a gtp to install it ...!!?

On an ls1 camaro z28 ,, if possible how much horsepower will it add to my z,, I want to buy a wrecked gtp an strip the supercharger,, can this be done ,,?? What else can I do to the camaro to make it gain horsepower!!??
