Which of these two cars would win in a race?

I have a 2003 vw jetta 1.8l turbo. Not super powerful but pretty quick. My friend is getting a 2002 Pontiac grand prix gtp. Now I know he would win easily but would I be able to keep up? What are their top speeds? I'm sick of him bragging. And I just want to know how it would turn out
