It depends on your preferences. I, personally, would be totally turned off. But I have friends who wouldn't mind a boyfriend like that. Although, it sounds like you feel as though it *is* going to be awkward... which isn't overreacting, but you might want to evaluate the relationship, because you shouldn't have to be with somebody who makes you uncomfortable-- for any reason.
