Can you make a 2006 Pontiac g6 gtp faster with mods? if so what can be done?
^Correct. Speed Chips do NOT exist for common cars. The only ones made for real are ones for types like Corvette, Trans AM, Viper, ect. Not grocery getters, it's obviously a real thing, but not for those cars. Sorry. Another thing, spending 1000 dollars to get 10-20hp? Not worth it imo. If you wanted a faster car, then you should have invested in a faster car, plain and simple. The G6 is not a tuner car, nor is much made for it specifically besides maybe a cold air intake from a couple companies and maybe an exhaust if you're lucky that doesn't have to be customized. Basically, you might as well have bought a Kia Rio or a Malibu. Making them faster is impossible without spending big $$$. Do yourself a favor, either save up for a better faster car, or save up a few thousand to throw in a turbo. (The right way) which includes an upgraded transmission and a PCM tune/dyno. It's been done but for a lot of money. Just my .02
