Halo projector lights installation help?

So I purchased aftermarket Halo ring projector lights for my car. its a 2000 grand prix GTP. It shows on the instructions how to connect them to the cars hook ups, and it does match up correctly. But on each headlight unit, there are a bunch of black and white wires hanging out from the bottom of each unit....what are these for and how do I hook these loose ones up?
