Should I be worried that my bf "flirts" with other girls?

So, I love my bf and he loves me very much. A while ago he was on vacation and he called me every day and so he was like how was your day and im like GREAT! i got to hang out with one of my best firends who i havent seen in a while (the friend was my age and a guy and he moved a way and he came to visit that day) so he was like oh how close are you too and im like uhhh really close! and then he paused and im like its fine you need to trust me... SO then the next day hes like omg this really hot girl was totally flirting with me and we were hitting it off.......... ok now i don't worry about htis because i know he loves me and i just dont need to be jealous. I dont like being jealous so im not! but then the next day he talks again about a girl and then the next day.... is he trying to get revenge on me for being close with the guy or what im confused.... its getting annoying now!
